Basic

This course is designated to equip Music Teachers with the foundational knowledge on teaching music to students with learning disabilities. The content of this course has been redefined through the years to suite teachers with or without experience teaching students with developmental as well as leaning disabilities.

By the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of students with disabilities and how best you can teach and support them in their learning. You will also have the opportunity to discuss real life examples with the trainer.

Advanced

This course is an extension of the Basic course. The participants will dive deeper in to better understand their students with disabilities. Additionally, the participants will be equipped to confidently design lesson plans that are well suited for these students.

Participants are required to submit a case study one week prior to the course. Each participant will be supported with a 30 min individual session for an in-depth discussion on their case study.

To enrol for this course, participants must have completed the BASIC course for at least 3 months.
