Come! for this 2-part session, providing teachers with resources and an improvisation workshop included. Conducted by U-Jin Lim, National Manager, these two interactive sessions is also a refresher, especially if you are preparing F2F exams again. 

PART 1: 8 March, 10 – 11am

Types of exams mode and Supporting Tests overview

  •  Explaining the content of the two modes of exam – F2F and DGD
  •  Providing guidance on the supporting tests materials i.e. publications, videos, support resources plus teaching tips on Aural Tests, Sight-Reading and Musical Knowledge
  • Introduce Supporting test element – Improvisation, what is the test about

PART 2: 13 March, 10 – 11.30am

Improvisation Workshop

  • Exploring the various improvisation tests of Trinity supporting tests
  • Resources sharing, including an exploration on Piano by Ear, by Lucinda Mackworth-Young (Faber Publications)

This is a hybrid event.

Part 1 is via Zoom only.

Part 2 is hybrid; you may choose to log-in via Zoom although in-person @ Plaza Mont Kiara is strongly encouraged, where possible, to maximise the learning experience.
